COBALT SLOW MOTION STALL MOTOR
Cobalt is a high quality DC motor driven actuator designed from the start to be the best product available for turnout or signal control in any modeling scale from N to O… without exception.
1) Compact and strong:
Cobalt is less than 50% of the size of its nearest competitor, yet it is far more powerful. Low gearing provides for ample throw strength, and most importantly, there is no relax at the end of the throw when power is dropped.
2) Extremely low current draw, versatile electrical control and wired without soldering:
Cobalt is happy with a wide range of DC voltages (approx. 5-15 vdc) and draws less than 30 milli-amps. Control is versatile too…a modeler can use any switch type or any DCC Accessory decoder when looking for control options. Cobalt also has TWO built-in changeover switches for panel lights, frog power switching or any other layout control need you may have. Wiring is a dream as there is no need for soldering…or even a screw driver.
3) Easily installed in any modeling scale with multiple mounting options:
By using the unique Cobalt installation template (available separately) pilot holes can be drilled from above the base board for perfect installation. Two mounting surfaces provide for multiple mounting options, this helps to overcome tricky installation situations. There is even a pocket, built in, for a decoder if necessary.
